A 26-year-old Keysville man is set to appear in Charlotte Circuit Court on Wednesday, March 15 on charges of abduction and kidnapping, forcible sodomy, two counts of destruction of property, two counts of assault on a family member and strangulation.

The charges against Demarco Steven Andrews stem from alleged crimes committed Oct. 29, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.

Police said Andrews was arrested on Feb. 14 after the sheriff’s office received indictments from a grand jury for the crimes.

The suspect has been released from jail on a $50,000 secured bond.
