The season came to an end for Central Middle School’s (CMS) boys and girls basketball teams recently in the first round of the Southside Middle School Conference tournament.

The girls team lost to Nottoway Middle School after its most successful season in recent memory.

The boys team lost to a skilled squad from Russell Middle School.
