Margaret Ann Allen, of Drakes Branch, died December 11, 2016 at her residence.  She was the daughter of the late Sarah Ragsdale Allen and Lacy Henry Allen Sr.

She is survived by two sons, Ronnie Allen (Nannie) of Chase City and Norman Allen of Charlotte Court House; four daughters, Rita Morton (Henry) of Cumberland, Nita Thompson of Farmville, Lisa Hinton (Ivory) of Henrico County, and Janet Allen of Drakes Branch; one sister, Frances Walker, and one brother, Lacy Allen Jr., both of Lynchburg; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, December 17 at 1 p.m. at the White Oak Grove Baptist Church in Phenix with interment in the church cemetery.
