WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY, 6 p.m. at Morrison Grove Baptist Church in Charlotte Court House. All women are encouraged to come out.

CHRISTMAS PARADE, 7 p.m. in the town of Keysville. Line up will begin at 6 p.m.

DECEMBER 3

STEW AND BAKE SALE, 11 a.m. at Plantersville UMC in the Fort Mitchell area. Plantersville is at the corner of Plantersville and Thompson roads. Cost of stew is $6 a quart. For pre-orders and information, please call (434) 372-5613 or (434) 736-0767.

FUNDRAISER DINNER SALE, 10 a.m. until at the Phenix Pavilion. Sojourners Relay for Life will sell chicken, pig feet, meat loaf, smothered pork chops, collard greens, sting breans, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, corn pudding, yams, cakes/pies. Cost is $8. BRUNCH WITH SANTA, 10 a.m.-noon at the Randolph Fire House at 2145 Cumberland Road. The menu will be egg casserole, sausages, muffins, pancakes, iced tea, coffee, O.J. and milk. Everyone is invited to visit and eat with Santa. Please make a donation at the door to support the fire dept.

DECEMBER 4

PASTOR’S ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church in Keysville. The church will be celebrating its pastor, the Rev. Wyatt Vaughan’s ninth anniversary. The Rev. Otis Johnson will be the guest preacher along with his male chorus of the Peaks Baptist Church.  All are invited.

PASTOR’S ANNIVERSARY, 11 a.m. at Gethsemane Presbyterian Church in Drakes Branch. Gethsemane will be celebrating the anniversary of its pastor, the Rev. G. Michael Hickman. The Rev. William Thompson of Farmville will deliver the message. The Singing Deacons of St. Michael Baptist of Drakes Branch will provide the music. Dinner will be served after the service. Everyone is invited.

DECEMBER 6

SHRINERS SEAFOOD FESTIVAL, 5:30-8 p.m. at Golden Leaf Warehouse in South Hill. The cost is only $25 and all net proceeds go to the Shriners Children’s Hospitals. For tickets or information call Chuck Ryan at (434) 210-6035.

BLOOD DRIVE, 1-6 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church in Red Oak, 6700 Barnesville Hwy.

DECEMBER 10

SOJOURNER’S RELAY FOR LIFE BINGO, 2 p.m. at the Phenix Volunteer Fire Department. Doors open at noon. The event will include bingo, vendors, food and prizes. JANUARY 15

COAT DRIVE, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Mt. Ellis Baptist Church in Keysville. The drive is sponsored by The Kappa Rho Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. The community is requested to donate new and used coats, hats, gloves, scarves and other winter items for children and adults. The drive will run from now until January 15.
