Birthday wishes to Shirley A.Jones, Nov. 2, Washington D.C.; Brian ‘Jun’ Coles, Nov. 2, Clover; Rochelle Smith, Nov. 5, Saxe; Jay Burton, Nov. 5, Richmond; Tiffany Davis, Nov. 6, Randolph; Nellie T. Garnett, Nov. 7, Drakes Branch. I wish each of you many more happy birthdays. Happy Birthday!

Get well wishes to all of the sick and shut. I hope you all are well soon, up and about. You are in our prayers for a quick recovery.

The Singing Stars Gospel Singers from Saxe held their anniversary on sunday. It was a success due to all of the Gospel groups and friends who came out to support us. May God bless each and every one of you for your kindness shown to us. We appreciate all of you.

Thought for the week: Someday, everything will make perfect sense. So for now, laugh at the confusion, smile through the tears and keep reminding yourself that everything happens for a reason.

Power

Boldness has genius, power and magic in it. Justice without force is powerless. Force without justice is tyrannical. When one is trying to do something beyond his known powers, it is useless to seek the approval of friends.

Friends are at their best in moments of defeat. Power is not revealed by striking hard or often, but by striking true. Power can be taken, not given. The process of the taking is empowerment in itself. Do you want to be a power in the world? Then be yourself.
