Juanita Fulghum, 83, of Charlotte Court House, passed peacefully on Thursday, October 13, 2016. She was a native of Dublin, GA, but lived the majority of her life in Southside Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph R. Fulghum, and her daughter, Anita Beth Fulghum.

Juanita is survived by her daughter and her husband, Rhonda and Kermit Jones of Charlotte C.H.; son and his wife, Joseph R. “Bob” and Joyce Fulghum Jr. of Rice; five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren, who lovingly referred to her as “Nina.” Each of them can attest to her phenomenal skills in the kitchen, where her love for cooking directly translated to each and every dish she made.

She was an expert Bridge player who enjoyed the fellowship of other players as much as the game, itself, and recently, she also began to enjoy Bingo as a favored pastime.

A memorial service was held at the Charlotte C.H. United Methodist Church at 3 p.m. on Sunday, October 16 with a reception to be held at the church following the service.
