The Randolph-Henry High School varsity boys cross country team finished a close second behind host Nottoway High School in a Sept. 14 meet. Chris Nichols, of the Statesmen, finished second, individually, and Nasheim Pettus placed fifth. At the same meet, the R-H girls team finished third, with Alena Latysheva placing fifth, individually.

R-H visits Goochland High School on Wednesday for its next meet.
