The Randolph-Henry High School boys and girls cross country teams each took second against Nottoway in a meet they hosted on Sept. 7 that also included Cumberland and Bluestone.

The Lady Statesmen were led by Alena Latysheva, who placed second.

The for the R-H boys, Chris Nichols placed third and Nasheim Pettus placed fourth.

R-H’s teams visit Nottoway on Wednesday for a rematch with the Cougars on their home course.
