The Abilene Community Center will have a fried chicken dinner on Sept. 24, from 4-7 p.m. The meal will include fried chicken, mashed potatoes, string beans, cole slaw, homemade rolls, dessert and a beverage. The cost is $10 for adults, and $6 for children 10 and under. Take outs only. Tickets can be purchased in advance from any Community Center member or at the door.
