The Phenix Fire Department will host a benefit fundraiser to support Jessie Sublett and his heart-related medical expenses on Saturday. Stew by Bruce Brown will be available at 11 a.m by calling (434) 610-0590. Price is $6 per quart. Barbecue plates will be available from 5-7 p.m at $10 per plate. Tickets can be purchased by calling (434) 610-0590 or (434) 395-8790. A silent auction and bake sale will be held throughout the event.
