Red Oak observes National Day of Prayer

The Red Oak Community National Day of Prayer breakfast was held on May 5 at 6 a.m.

The blessing was presented by the Rev. Adam Blosser.

Presenting the flags was American Legion Post 260 Honor Guard under the direction of Billy Price.

Gene Hall Jr. gave the welcome.

Papa’s Angels from Hebron Methodist Church presented several songs.

The National Day of Prayer included 16 speakers. Mayor Stephen Walker spoke on recognition of government and business.

The Rev. Dennis Fritz chose for his topic “Prayer for education and the media.”
