The town of Keysville is currently in the planning phases for the first Keysville Arts and Crafts Festival on Saturday, September 24, and is seeking interest from those wanting to help organize or participate in the event.

“We are very excited about this opportunity to showcase our town and the surrounding community,” said festival organizer Shep Critzer. “We have a great number of artists, craftspeople, musicians, and active organizations and are looking forward to having all of them together in one community event.”

The festival will include arts, crafts, food, music, and games. Any vendors, organizations, or other groups that would like to host a booth or activity are invited to register. Registration forms and other information are posted on the Town of Keysville web page at

There will be an organizational meeting at the Keysville Town Office on Tuesday, at 6:30 p.m. for anyone who would like to be involved in the planning for this event. Suggestions or questions can also be sent to

“It will take a strong group of involved townspeople to make such a large event happen,” said Critzer. “Our hope is to make this festival something that is fun and representative of our community as a whole. In order to do that, we will need input and participation from multiple sources.”
