Club takes state and district awards

Thirteen members of the Red House Garden Club recently attended the South Central District Garden Club meeting in April in Chatham. The club was awarded three district awards and one state award. The first-place district award and the first-place state award was for decorating Red Hill, a historic building, for its Christmas Open House. Other awards received are the following: district award, third place, for the 2015 Club Yearbook; and honorable mention for the club’s Publicity Press Book.
