Marie Shutt, of Brookneal, was awarded a lifetime membership in the Virginia Federation of Garden Clubs on April 12 at the South Central District Garden Club meeting in Chatham. Shutt was honored with this membership by her garden club, the Red Hill Garden Club, for 42 years of dedication and service to the club and her community.
