Oscar Mosley

Mr. Oscar Mosley, loving known as “Big O” returned to his heavenly father on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital. He was born to the late Austin and Susie Mosley on January 31, 1928 in Charlotte County, Virginia. Oscar was a gentle and loving man who always put God first. He and his sister, Annie Ruth were like two peas in a pod. Oscar was preceded in death by one sister, Doris Saunders; three brothers, Samuel, Nathaniel (Whimpy) and Jasper Mosley; grandson, Brandon; and brother-in-law, Joe Vaughters. Her leaves to rejoice in his memory, three daughers, Vivian and Sonya (Donald) Craighead, both of Saxe, VA and Wanda (Brian) Woodall of Nathalie, VA; six sons, Oscar Jr (Edythe of South Hill, VA, David (Lillie) of Red House, VA, Wayne of Scottsburg, VA, Don (Beverly) of Richmond, VA, Steven (Jennie) of Woodbridge, VA and Kevin of Saxe, VA; 19 grandchildren; two sisters, Annie Ruth Vaughters of Saxe and Betty Smith of Richmond; two brothers, John Ed (Jeanette) of Orangeburg, SC and Junior (Julia) of Saxe; host of nieces, nephews, cousins,other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service was held 1:30 P.M. Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Pentecostal Holiness Church in Randolph, VA, with interment in the church cemetery.
