The Charlotte County Grays, Sons of Confederate Veterans Camp 1964, will meet on Tuesday at Sheldon’s Restaurant in Keysville. The meeting will begin with a “Dutch Treat” meal at 6:30 p.m., followed by a short business meeting and program. The guest speaker at the meeting will be Randy Watkins,  a member of the SCV and a speaker listed by and recommended by the Virginia Division, Sons of Confederate Veterans. Watkins will speak on “Fort Gregg, the Alamo of the Confederacy.” Any potential new members who are male descendants of Confederate Veterans and are interested in studying and preserving the history and heritage of the South are welcome at meetings of the SCV.
