Phenix Elementary School’s patrol is comprised of fifth-graders who were recommended by their teachers for exhibiting outstanding character traits and maintaining good grades. AAA’s School Safety Patrol helps promote the development of leadership skills and good citizenship qualities in students. The primary purpose of the safety patrol is to ensure the safety of students as they arrive and depart from campus. Patrol members receive training before beginning this program, which includes traffic-safety lessons, pedestrian safety and leadership-skill building. The school congratulated students who were chosen as members of the AAA Safety Patrol.
