Linwood Noah Hicks

Linwood Noah Hicks, 82, passed away. He was born September 2, 1933 to Noah Aquilla Hicks and Mary Meadows Hicks. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He is also known for his extensive logging career. He is survived by his wife, Hilda Marie Hicks a son, Richard Lee Hicks (Dale); a grandson, Noah Hicks (Melissa), Richard Browning Hicks (Dawn) granddaughters, Amber Smith, Lindsay Smith (Sammy) five great grandchildren, Stephen Smith, Sydney Smith, Kaylyn Sparkman, Abigail Hicks, Rachel Hicks stepchildren, Royal Rowe, Cinthia Rowe, Lora Rowe Anderson, 2 step grandchildren, Stacie Pruett, Michael Pruett, 3 brothers, Bootsie Hicks (Betty), Raymond Hicks, Rhasa Hicks (Lois), 3 sisters, Edith Martin, Betty Church (Freddie), Lucy Evans (Bill), 2 sisters in law, Charlotte Hicks and Shirley Hicks along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Willie Hicks, Bennie Lee Hicks, Lonnie B.Hicks one brother in law, Billy Evans and one sister in law, Doris Hicks.

The family received friends on Friday, January 29, 2016 from 5:30PM – 7:00PM at Puckett Funeral Home.

A memorial service was held following visitation at 7:00PM in the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home.
