Danny Ray Smith, age 55, of South Boston, VA passed away, Tuesday, December 22, 2015.  He is survived by his wife, Sherry R. Smith, two brothers, Woodson “Woody” Smith Jr. and wife Lora, Ronnie Smith and wife Dawn; a sister, Patricia S. Hawkins; a special friend, Ammon Miller; and numerous other family members.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodson Smith, Sr. and Marion Owen Smith; a sister, Pamela A. Boyd.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 26, 2015 in the Hebron United Methodist Church with interment in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.  The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of the arrangements.
