This year the Governor of Virginia requested a Christmas ornament, representing each area, to be placed on the Mansion’s Christmas Tree. Above is an ornament Town Council member Deborah Kennedy made for the Town of Drakes Branch that was sent to the Governor last week. Due to large requests for the ornament, Kennedy will be making more to sell at the Town’s Christmas Open House on the first Sunday in December. After the Open House, they will then be available for purchase at the Drakes Branch Museum.
