Revival and homecoming services will be held at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, in Abilene, beginning with the homecoming service on Sunday morning at 11 a.m. A covered dish meal will follow after the service.

The guest speaker will be Rev. Paul Kvasnicka Jr., of Appomattox. He is the pastor of Spout Springs Baptist Church, captain of the III Division of the Virginia State Police and a longtime friend of Mt. Nebo. Revival services begin that night and continue through Thursday, Oct. 1. Services will begin each night at 7 p.m. Once again, the church is pleased to have Rev. Earl Clarkson, of Madison Heights, as the guest evangelist. Rev. Clarkson is the former co-pastor of Temple Baptist Church. There will also be special music each night and a nursery will be provided. Everyone is cordially invited to come and join the events.
