Deputies search for area man

Have you seen Daryl Linn King? That’s the question officials from the Lunenburg County Sheriff’s Office are asking residents this week. The Keysville resident currently has two misdemeanor warrants and one felony warrant in Lunenburg out for his arrest.

King was last seen driving a Ford F-250 with Virginia license UDG-4753. A look at his record shows before 2020, there are just some traffic violations. During 2020 and beyond, however, he’s been charged with eight counts of violating a protective order, which resulted in 12 months supervised probation. In nearby Halifax County, he was sentenced to five years in prison on felony weapons charges, with four years and nine months of that suspended back in 2020. According to officials with the Lunenburg County Sheriff’s Office, King is currently considered armed and dangerous. He is described as a mid-size white male with black hair, with a long black beard that has grey in it.

People are asked not to engage or attempt to interact with King on their own, if they identify him. If anyone has any information on Kings whereabouts, please call 911 or 696-4452. If you would like to remain anonymous, you can call Crime Solvers at 696-3100.
