AUGUST 4

HOMECOMING — Bluestone Baptist Church in Trottinridge Road will hold homecoming on Sunday, Aug. 4, beginning at noon. The Spiritual Disciples will provide the music, with Pastor Lawrence Wilkerson Sr. preaching the message.

AUGUST 6

BEEKEEPERS MEETING — The Heart of Virginia Beekeepers will meet on Tuesday, Aug. 6, beginning at 7 p.m. at the Prince Edward County Extension Office. That’s located at 100 Dominion Drive in Farmville, near Lowe’s. Ben Marietta of Bee Happy Farms will speak on the The Beekeeper’s Calendar.

AUGUST 13

BOOKCLUB — The Charlotte County Library will hold its Book Club at its Charlotte Court House branch on Tuesday, Aug. 13, beginning at 2 p.m.

AUGUST 18

HOMECOMING — St. Andrews Baptist Church, located at 2100 Taro Road in Cullen, will celebrate homecoming on Sunday, Aug. 18, followed by a Family & Friends Day Rally preached by Rev. Dr. Maurice Finney at 11 a.m. A meal will be served after.

AUGUST 19 -21

REVIVAL — St. Andres Baptist Church, located at 2100 Taro Road in Cullen, will hold revival services Aug. 19 through Aug. 21, starting at 7 p.m. nightly. The guest preacher is Rev. Stanley Wesley from Peaks Baptist Church in Prospect.

AUGUST 25

HOMECOMING — St. Louis Baptist Church in Charlotte Court House will hold homecoming services on Aug. 25, during the 10 a.m. service.

AUGUST 28- 30

REVIVAL — St. Louis Baptist Church in Charlotte Court House will hold revival services from Aug. 28 to Aug. 30. Services will begin at 7 p.m. nightly, with a different speaker each night.

UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

WEEKLY WORSHIP — Tabernacle Baptist Church will hold Sunday School every Sunday at 10 a.m. except 5th Sundays. Services start at 11:30 a.m. on the first and third Sunday of the month.

WOMEN’S MINISTRY WORSHIP — A worship service with Confident Women Ministry is held every Sunday at 3 p.m. online via conference call. Services are led by Rev. Loretta Bailey and anyone is invited to call 1-657-390- 7012 to take part.

ST. MICHAEL BAPTIST CHURCH — St. Michael Baptist Church in Drakes Branch holds worship services at 11 a.m. the second and fourth Sundays of each month Masks are required. The Rev. James E. Goode is the pastor.

SHILOH BAPTIST CHURCH — Shiloh Baptist Church, located at 125 Shiloh Church Road in Drakes Branch holds services every Sunday at 10 a.m. Rev. Dr. Horace B. Parham Jr. is the pastor. All are welcome.

AMATEUR RADIO MEETING — The Charlotte County Amateur Radio Club meets the first Sunday of the month at 5104 Double Bridges Road in Meherrin. The meeting begins at 3 p.m. Everyone is welcome. For more information, contact Joe Reid at (808)-927-8910.

ST. ANDREWS BAPTIST CHURCH — St. Andrews Baptist Church in Cullen holds worship services at 11 a.m. the first and third Sundays. Sunday school begins at 9:45 a.m. the first, second, third and fourth Sundays. The Rev. Dr. Maurice Finney is the pastor.

BEAUTIFUL PLAIN BAPTIST — Beautiful Plain Baptist Church holds services at 11 a.m. the second and fourth Sundays at Beautiful Plain Baptist Church, Charlotte Court House until further notice.

HEBRON CHURCH — Hebron Church located at 111 Hebron Church Road in Saxe holds in-person services at 9:45 a.m. each Sunday.

PHENIX UNITED METHODIST CHURCH — Phenix United Methodist Church, 225 Church St., in Phenix worship service is at 9 a.m. each Sunday morning. There will be no Sunday school.

MT. CARMEL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH — Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, 1101 Mt. Carmel Road, in Brookneal worship service is at 11 a.m. each Sunday morning. There will be no Sunday school.
