The eighth grade class at Central Middle School recently enjoyed a field trip to Natural Bridge Caverns. Activities included mining for gems, nature walks, weather science labs, and of course touring the caverns. The drive through the Blue Ridge Parkway to reach the caverns was another highlight for students as well as dinner at Cici’s Pizza.
