Mary Elizabeth Baker Anderson, 77 of Lynchburg, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, Jan. 27. She was the wife of Charles G. Anderson for 60 years on Jan. 26.

Mrs. Anderson was born in Lynchburg, May 10, 1945 a daughter of the late Frank E. Baker and Lizzie Dickerson Baker. She was a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church and attended Bethel Mennonite Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Mitzi Webb (Matthew) of Amelia, Tammy Burrill (Bob) of Goode and Charlene Prewitt (Shane) of Broadview Heights, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, Heather, Molly, Madison, Jacob, Stephen, Matthew, Josh, Abbey, Luke and Chase; four great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Elijah, Addie and Ella; a brother, Leslie Baker (Elizabeth Anne) of Chesterfield; a sister, Marie Heath (Raymond) of Henrico and a special friend, Joan Lipscomb.

She was preceded in death by a sister, June Jones (A.B.).

The family would like to thank Gentle Shepherd Hospice for the care they provided.

A graveside service was conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, at Falling River Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family received friends before the graveside service at 1:30 p.m., Monday, Jan. 30, at Henderson Funeral Home Chapel.
