On Friday, Nov. 18, the Randolph-Henry HOSA organization sponsored its first blood drive since the pandemic. The group was able to collect 21 units of blood. HOSA members and Nurse Elder’s Introduction to Health and Medical Science class served as volunteers throughout the day while also observing the medical field of phlebotomy. HOSA officials said they appreciated all students and staff that took part in the fall blood drive. They hope to sponsor another one next spring.
