Edith Frances Stitt, 91 of Charlotte Court House, passed away on Nov. 4, in Keysville. She was the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland Stitt Sr. and Edith Byrd Stitt.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six siblings, Grover Cleveland Jr., James, Rosetta, Clarence, Mary and Alphonso.

She leaves to mourn her loss, nephews, Grover Cleveland III (Zandra), George Wayne Carrington (Wanda) and Clarence Coolidge Stitt Jr.; niece, Shirley Marie Stitt; great nieces, Shani S. Banks, Elizabeth Carrington Manson (Chauncey IV) and Victoria Carrington; great-great nephew, Chauncey Manson V; great-great niece, Sienna Banks; cousin, Curtis Morton; devoted god daughter, Nan Lambert; friend, Ida Spencer and a host friends and relatives.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, Nov. 10, at 11 a.m., at Gethsemane Presbyterian Church in Drakes Branch with interment in Union Cemetery in Charlotte Court House. Condolences may be expressed at www.JeffressFuneralHome.com.
