Reverend Ted Smith and his wife, Sylvia, were recognized for 28 years of ministry to Ash Camp during the morning worship service on Sept. 4. Rev. Smith preached his first sermon as pastor of the church Sept. 1, 1994. Rev. Smith and his family moved to Keysville after his education at seminary and Princeton. The anniversary celebration also recognized Rev. Smith as the longest serving pastor in the history of Ash Camp Baptist Church.
