More than a month into the season, Randolph-Henry’s (R-H) golf team still remains undefeated, 16-0 in district play. The team added another win to the record Thursday, Sept. 8, beating both Nottoway County and Prince Edward County.

Playing at The Manor in Prince Edward County, R-H brought home a combined team score of 172 on the night. Nottoway came in second at 176 and Prince Edward High finished third at 214.

Austin Queensberry led the way for the Statesmen, shooting a personal best 35. Danner Allen shot a 44, Aiden Bryant recorded a 45 and Liam Hottle rounded out the top five for Randolph-Henry with a 48.

With an overall record now of 21-1, the team will next play Sept. 20, in a district tournament. The time and location for that is still to be announced.
