Deacon Bernard Randolph, 82 of Phenix, passed away on Sept. 2, at his residence. He was the son of the late Jeff Randolph and Marybelle Randolph.

He is survived by his loving wife, Annie Bell Randolph of the home; one daughter, Lisa Branch (Eugene) of Prospect; two sons, Michael Randolph (Edna Miller) of Louisa and Louis Randolph (Diane) of Pamplin; six grandchildren, Stephanie Randolph and Faith Randolph, both of Woodbridge, LaShanta Smith (Rev. Aaron) of Lynchburg, Denylo Branch of Richmond and Nicholas Branch of Prospect; devoted grandchild, Lalainya Allen of Phenix; one devoted sister, Louise Byard of Phenix; sisters-in-law, Deloris Randolph of Charlotte, North Carolina, Thelma Randolph of New York City, New York, Marylee Hunter of Concord, Marion Mosby Brookneal and Elsie Foster of Shipman; brother-in-law, Reafus L Armistead of Brookneal; two devoted nieces, Anita Allen and Barbara Byard, both of Phenix and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Sept. 11, at 2 p.m., at White Oak Grove Baptist Church in Phenix, with interment in the church cemetery. Public viewing will begin on Saturday, Sept. 10, from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m., at the funeral home in Brookneal. Condolences maybe expressed at www.JeffressFuneralHome.com.
