JULY 17

FAMILY AND FRIENDS DAY — Mossingford Baptist Church in Saxe will have its family and friends day on Sunday, July 17, at 10 a.m. All are invited to come and fellowship. Fish and hotdogs will be served. Casual dress is optional. The Rev. John Craighead is proclaimer for the service.

JUNE 20 – 22

TENT REVIVAL — White Oak Grove Baptist Church, in Phenix will have its tent revival service on Wednesday, July 20, Thursday, July 21 and Friday, July 22. Prayer and praise service begins at 6:30 p.m. and the service begins at 7 p.m. The Rev. Ed Jones will be the guest speaker. Rev. Charles A. Woolfolk is the pastor.

ST. MICHAEL BAPTIST CHURCH — St. Michael Baptist Church in Drakes Branch will hold worship services the second and fourth Sundays of each month at 11 a.m. Mask are required. Rev. James E. Goode is the pastor.

AMATEUR RADIO MEETING — The Charlotte County Amateur Radio Club meets the first Sunday of the month at 1426 Estes Road in Chase City. The meeting begins at 3 p.m. Everyone is welcome. For more information, contact Jason at (434) 944-9100.

ST. ANDREWS BAPTIST CHURCH — St. Andrews Baptist Church in Cullen will hold worship service the first and third Sundays at 11 a.m. Sunday school will be the first, second, third and fourth Sundays at 9:45 a.m. The Rev. Dr. Maurice Finney is the pastor.

BEAUTIFUL PLAIN BAPTIST — Beautiful Plain Baptist Church will hold services the second and fourth Sundays at 11 a.m. at Beautiful Plain Baptist Church, Charlotte Court House until further notice.

HEBRON UNITED METHODIST — Hebron United Methodist Church in Saxe will hold in-person services at 9:45 a.m. until further notice. Masks are required to attend.

PHENIX UNITED METHODIST CHURCH — Phenix United Methodist Church, 225 Church St., in Phenix will have a worship service each Sunday morning at 9 a.m. Masks and physical distancing are required. There will be no Sunday school.

MT. CARMEL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH — Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, 1101 Mt. Carmel Road, in Brookneal will have a worship service each Sunday morning at 11 a.m. Masks and physical distancing are required. There will be no Sunday school.
