Feinman joins SVCC Foundation staff

Meredith Feinman was recently hired as Southside Virginia Community College Foundation’s annual fund 0fficer.

Feinman is from Charlotte County, and a graduate of Randolph-Henry High School. She attended the Governor’s School on SVCC’s Daniel Campus and graduated in 2017. She then attended James Madison University (JMU), where she earned a bachelor of science degree in communication studies and a master of arts degree in communication and advocacy. Feinman now attends Longwood University and is working towards her master of business administration degree.

Feinman worked as a graduate assistant and instructor of public speaking while attending JMU. She previously interned at SVCC for two summers, once as a public relations and marketing intern and once as an education advocate to complete her master’s degree at JMU. She has worked at SVCC for the past year as a college navigator, assisting new and current students with applications, transcripts, choosing programs, creating schedules, financial aid, scholarships, and more.
