The region’s largest yard sale day returns at 7 a.m., Saturday, July 2.

The Southside Virginia 100 Mile Yard Sale will have stops in Drakes Branch, as well stops from Amelia to South Boston.

According to many business owners along the route, in the past, the day of the Southside Virginia 100 Mile Yard Sale is the busiest one for their businesses.

Whether it’s a vendor filling up with gas, a group of shoppers taking a lunch break at a local restaurant, or out-of-towners lured in by yard sales checking out other small businesses, the entire community benefits from this event.
