Ruby M. Johnson Franklin, 85 of Cullen, passed away on June 1, in Farmville. She was the daughter of the late Gradney Johnson and Annie Dennis Johnson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, H. McCoy Franklin; son, Anthony Franklin (Antoinette) and brother, Walter Johnson (Carrie).

She leaves to cherish memories: daughter, Resiah F. Scott; grandchildren, Ryan Scott, Dana Scott (Joshua), Shakeem Cox (Mario) and Devontie Franklin; great-grandchildren, Tatiana Cox, Stephen Shaw Jr., Jeremy Kendall, Ezra Scott, Kobe Tabor, Anthony Scott and Jabari Scott; brother-in-law, Earl Franklin; sisters-in-law, Doris Franklin and Annie Franklin; a host of nieces (devoted Kim Meier, Isabelle Meier and Pam Pearson); nephews; cousins (devoted Dorothy Cook); friends (devoted Iris Guillet) and a host of other relatives and friends.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, June 8, at 10 a.m., at St. Andrews Baptist Church cemetery in Cullen. Condolences may be expressed at www.JeffressFuneralHome.com.
