On Tuesday, May 31, the Lady Statesmen hosted Poquoson High School for the Regional Championship. All played competitively, however the Statesmen suffered a defeat of 5-4.

On Friday, June 2, the Ladies traveled to Central High School of Woodstock, for the State Quarterfinals. It was an extremely competitive match, but the ladies suffered another devastating defeat of 5-4.

This marks the end of the 2022 season as a team.

No. 1 Singles Emily Tharpe, and No. 1 Doubles Emily Tharpe/Mary Scruggs will be competing in the State Championships at Virginia Tech on June 9-11.
