David C. “Toby” Martin, 85 of Wylliesburg, passed away April 9. He was the son of the late John and Ida Martin.

He is also preceded in death by his wife, Edith Martin; daughter, Kathy Wilmoth and son, D.C. Martin.

He was a retired truck driver and long-time member and deacon at Friendship Baptist Church.

Surviving is his daughter, Becky Guthrie (Steve); son, Tony Martin (Lois); seven grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.

The family received friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 12, at Wood Funeral Chapel. Services were held 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 13, at Friendship Baptist Church followed by interment at The Wilmoth Family Cemetery.
