William Theodore Hall peacefully made his transition in South Boston, on Jan. 29. He was born on June 27, 1943 to the late Theodore Hall and Geraldine Fowlkes Hall.

William was an active member and chairman of the Deacon Board at Mt. Ellis Baptist Church until his health began to fail.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Earnest and James Hall; daughters, Jacqueline Hall Whitehead and Michelle Hall; granddaughter, Jasmine Mitter Cartier and son-in-law, Harold Whitehead.

William leaves beautiful memories to his loving and devoted wife, Carol Roach Hall; granddaughter, Ashley Mitter; great-grandchildren, Jaylan, Jakayla and Mikhail; sisters, Vivian Prescott, Lois Watson (Tilden), Teresa Marrow (Colonel), Bernice Hargrove and Clara Dailey; brother, Clay Hall (Valerie); sisters-in-law, Betty Goode, Annie Goode, Betty Jones (Luther) and Joyce Hall; brother-in-law, Phillip Goode and Robert Harris; uncle, Frank Hall; aunt, Mary Ann Townsend; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, devoted cousin, Cecil Fowlkes and loyal friends, Mann Dunn and Nathaniel Goode.

Funeral service was held at 12 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 5, at Mt. Ellis Baptist Church in Keysville, with interment in the church cemetery.
