Carolyn Jean Cassada, 63 of Red Oak, passed away Monday, Jan. 24. She was born Aug. 11, 1958 in Halifax County and was the daughter of the late Noel and Ruby Cassada. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Waddell Cassada Jr. and David Ronald Cassada; sister, Larvee Lacks; niece, Michelle Cassada and two nephews, Shaun Cassada and Rocky Lane Lacks.

Carolyn is survived by her brother, Willie Olivine Cassada (Diane) of Red Oak; sister, Marilyn Terriault of Hampton; nephews, Stacey Lacks, Derek Terriault and Steven Spurlock (Amy); a great-niece and great-nephew, Laci and Lance Spurlock and her special cousin, Connie Jenkins of Alabama.

Carolyn was a retired Custodian from Eureka Elementary School.

Services will be private.
