Lillie Diggs, 92 of Charlotte Court House, passed away on Dec. 27, in Lynchburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mac and Annie Rose Bouldin; husband, Arthur Diggs and and sons, Douglas Cook, Francis Cook, and David Cook.

Left to cherish her memory are four sons, Irvin Cook (Charlie) of Winter Haven, Florida, Xavier Cook (Karman) of Kalamazoo, Michigan, French Cook of Richmond, and Orenthal “OJ” Diggs of Tampa, Florida; devoted daughter, Brenda Haskins (Michael) of Charlotte Court House; daughter-in-law, Deborah Cook of East Orange, New Jersey; two very special sisters-in-law, Gracie Stovall and Arnetta Hewitt; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews to include Wiley Boulding, Willie Webb, Robin Boulding, Freddie Stovall, William Daniels and a special friend and caregiver, Regina Holcomb.

The funeral service was held on Saturday, Jan. 1, at noon, at Jeffress Funeral Home Chapel in Brookneal with interment in the Union Cemetery in Charlotte Court House.
