Red House and Appomattox Volunteer Fire departments responded to a mobile home fire in Appomattox County on Friday, Dec. 10 around 9:44 p.m. Fire crews arrived on scene to find heavy fire showing from the mobile home. According to Red House Volunteer Fire Department Chief Chad Reeves a strong interior attack was made to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire is unknown.
