Four fire departments responded to a brush fire on Wednesday, Dec. 8 on Bacon District School Road. Upon arrival on scene firefighters found a structure and vehicles on fire. Bacon District, Drakes Branch, Charlotte Court House and Chase City Fire Departments responded to the scene, No injuries were reported. Charlotte County still remains under a burn ban due to drought conditions.
