BEEKEEPER’S SCHOOL REGISTRATION — The Heart of Virginia Beekeepers are hosting a Beekeepers school at the Prince Edward County Extension Office. School consists of four classes, Jan. 26, Feb. 8, Feb. 16 and Feb. 23 from 7 – 9 p.m. plus a field day for which the date is not yet set. Cost is $50 and includes all classes, field day and one book. DECEMBER 24

CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE — Drakes Branch Baptist Church located at 4525 Main St., Drakes Branch will host a Christmas Eve Service on Dec. 24 at 7 p.m.

JANUARY 4

BLOOD DRIVE — Midway Baptist Church located at 2595 Midway Road, Phenix will host a blood drive Tuesday, Jan. 4 from 2 – 6 p.m.

FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH — The First Baptist Church of Wylliesburg with the Pastor Opie Terrell Jr. will no longer be having parking lot services due to the change in weather.

AMATEUR RADIO MEETING — The Charlotte County Amateur Radio Club meets the first Sunday of the month at the Drakes Branch Municipal Building which is located at 4800 Drakes Main St. The meeting begins at 3 p.m. Everyone is welcome. For more information, contact Dan at (434) 210-8383.

ST. ANDREWS BAPTIST CHURCH — St. Andrews Baptist Church in Cullen will hold worship service the first and third Sundays at 11 a.m. Sunday school will be the first, second, third and fourth Sundays at 9:45 a.m. The Rev. Dr. Maurice Finney is the pastor.

BEAUTIFUL PLAIN BAPTIST — Beautiful Plain Baptist Church will hold services the second and fourth Sundays at 11 a.m. at Beautiful Plain Baptist Church, Charlotte Court House until further notice.

HEBRON UNITED METHODIST — Hebron United Methodist Church in Saxe will hold in-person services at 9:45 a.m. until further notice. Masks are required to attend.

PHENIX UNITED METHODIST CHURCH — Phenix United Methodist Church, 225 Church St., in Phenix will have a worship service each Sunday morning at 9 a.m. Masks and physical distancing are required. There will be no Sunday school.

MT. CARMEL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH — Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, 1101 Mt. Carmel Road, in Brookneal will have a worship service each Sunday morning at 11 a.m. Masks and physical distancing are required. There will be no Sunday school.
