Cedric Ivan Edmonds, 59 of Cullen, passed away on Dec. 8, in Ashland. He was the son of the late Ella Unita Edmonds and was raised by the late Deacon Carlyle Robinson and Deaconess Lillie Wood Robinson, along with Wallicia Kelsaw.

He was preceded in death by Charles Callahan, who was raised with him like a brother.

He is survived by his sister, Brenda Brown (Eric) of Cumberland and a supportive family raised together as sisters and brothers, Juanita Evans, Gloretta Callahan and Michael Evans (Chandelle), all of Chester, Maude Brown, Lend Pryor and Vonzella Hack, all of Victoria and Leslie Ghee (John) of Cumberland; a devoted cousin/god-daughter, Whitney Callahan of Virginia Beach; one niece, Sharita Brown of Farmville; one nephew, Joshua Brown of Charlottesville and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 18, at noon, at Jeffress Funeral Home Chapel in Brookneal with interment in St. Andrews Baptist Church Cemetery in Cullen. Public viewing will begin on Dec. 17, from noon until 7 p.m. at the funeral home in Brookneal. Condolences may be expressed at www.JeffressFuneralHome.com.
