Katherine Elaine Jackson, 62 of Lynchburg, passed away on Nov. 3, in Floyd. She was the daughter of the late Edward Walter Jackson and Mable Helen Hodge Jackson. Kaddie was preceded in death by her brother, Walter Jackson III and her sister, Velma Wright.

She is survived by four children, Kimberlyn Jackson Cashwell (Jerry) of Madison Heights, Walter Jackson (Danielle) of Concord, Ryan King (Tianay) of Lynchburg and Bryan King (Mary) of Lynchburg; five grandchildren, whom she affectionately loved, Mikayla, Jerry, Samiyah, Jackson (Trunk) and Hazel; three adopted grandchildren, Dre, Twon and Adreaunna; seven siblings to cherish her memories, Rose, Bunny (Elijah), Darlene (Chuck), Ann (Carlton), Jerry (Rosa), Sandy (Donna) and Michael (Julia); nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Nov. 10, at 3 p.m., at White Oak Grove Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at www.JeffressFuneralHome.com.
