Betty Crawley, 78, of Keysville entered eternal rest Thursday, July 15, at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital, Lynchburg.

Miss Crawley was born in Charlotte County, Oct. 10, 1942, to the late Silas and Jannie Clark Crawley. She attended the schools of Charlotte County and was a member of First Baptist Church in Wylliesburg. She was a previous employee of Red Barn, Keysville.

In addition to her parents, Miss Crawley was preceded in death by three sisters, Bertha Watson, Georgia Crawley and Rosa Roberts; her brother, Andrew Crawley and her lifetime companion, Roy L. Carrington.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her daughter, Eunice Mayo of Roanoke; two sisters, Frances C. Tyler and Janie Crawley both of Keysville; her First Baptist Church Family and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

Funeral services were conducted 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 20, at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City with Rev. Opie Terrell, officiating. Burial followed in First Baptist Church Cemetery, Drakes Branch.
