ShaRone Gerome Jackson, 42 of Phenix, passed away on April 6, in Phenix. He was the son of Willie Gerome Jackson and Cathy Carden Jackson.

He was preceded in death by grandmother, Ola Mae Carden; grandfathers, Burnell Carden and Willie Lee Jackson; uncle, Larry Jackson; aunt, Pearl McCargo and his great grandparents.

He leaves to honor his memories three daughters, Patrice Frank and Ta’Tiana Jackson of Lynchburg and Jazmyn Jackson of Phenix; two sons, Devonte Calloway of Brookneal and Dareal Jackson of Appomattox; one granddaughter, Ka`Ori Jackson; his parents, Catherine C. and Willie (Gerome) Jackson; one sister, Daphne Ragland of Houston, Texas; his grandmother, Catherine R. Jackson of Phenix; one brother-in-law, Cory Ragland of Houston, Texas; six aunts, Creola Johnson, Frances Carden, Teal Carden, Rosa Carden, Laura Carden and Patricia Trent; four uncles, Gerome Carden, Lester Carden, James Carden and Danny Johnson; five great-aunts, Hezeteine Foster, Arlene Jackson, Jean Robinson, Sally Hamlett and Loretta Trent; two great-uncles, Wendell Carden and Robert Jackson; two nephews, Dejour and Davonte` Ragland; one great-niece, Amiyah Ragland; one godbrother, William Steeples Jr.; goddaughter, Ta`Lynne Heath and a host of other relatives and friends.

A graveside service was held on Friday, April 16, at 2 p.m. at White Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Phenix. Condolences may be expressed at www.JeffressFuneralHome.com.
