Nichole and Melody Duffer were recent participants of the Miss Virginia American Star Achievement program.

Nichole Duffer represented Charlotte County in 2020 with her local reign. At the state crowning event held March 14, Nichole received the outstanding community service award and photogenic award. Nichole is the 10-year-old daughter of Melody and Judson Duffer of Saxe and attends Beacon District Elementary School.

Melody Duffer is the wife of Judson Duffer of Saxe. She was crowned Mrs. Virginia American Star Achievement on March 14. She was also awarded the lifestyle and fitness award as well as the outstanding community service award.

Each of these individuals were chosen for their awards based on community service, academics, individual honors/awards, and additional achievements.
