Fire departments still open as warming stations, hot meals served

Charlotte County officials and volunteer fire departments have made arrangements to provide access to warming centers
for citizens to obtain water and charge electronic devices again today,  Monday, Feb. 22.

All of the county’s fire departments remain open today from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Prepacked food items, bottled water, Gatorade and blankets are available at each department.

The Southern Baptist Conservatives of Virginia Disaster Relief and The American Red Cross will serve hot meals today from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m at the following locations:

Keysville Volunteer Fire Department
Charlotte Court House Municipal Building, 350 George Washington Hwy., Charlotte Court House
Central Middle School, 250 Statesman Drive, Charlotte Court House

Office at (434) 542-5117 during normal business hours, Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to be added to the
