The Charlotte County Administration office announced on its Facebook page Wednesday, Dec. 9 that in accordance with county policy, the Charlotte County Treasurer’s Office will be closed to the public for the remainder of this week due to a potential exposure to COVID-19 and for associated cleaning.

The treasurer will be available by phone at (434) 542-5125 during normal business hours. Documents for the treasurer can be placed in the drop box at the office or submitted by mail.  Additional information regarding services provided by the treasurer’s office are also available online at www.charlotteva.com.

The office will reopen to the public on Monday, Dec. 14.
