 MARCH 11-13 

REVIVAL, 7 p.m. at St. Michael Baptist Church. The Rev. Marvin Bowman, pastor of the Bethel Grove Baptist Church in Clover, will be the guest preacher. A different choir will sing each night.

MARCH 13 

POTATO AND CHILI DINNER, 5-7 p.m. at the Randolph District Firehouse hosted by the auxiliary for a donation at the door.

FIVE-MAN CHRISTIAN EMSEMBLE, 7 p.m. at Spring Creek Baptist Church, 918 Darlington Heights Road, Cullen. Performing will be The Ark Singers from Ukraine performing traditional and contemporary favorites. A love offering will be received. Refreshments served after the event.

MARCH 14 

EARLY CHILDHOOD HEALTH AND WELLNESS FAIR, 9 a.m.-noon at Eureka Elementary School. The target audience is the parents of children ages 2 to 8. The VPI Steering Committee hopes through this event they can promote and support the health and well-being of young students to set a solid and strong foundation for future health and education.

SPAGHETTI DINNER, 5-7 p.m. to benefit Charlotte County Meals on Wheels at Ash Camp Baptist Church, Keysville. Dinner includes spaghetti, bread, salad, dessert and drink.

SOCIAL, 7 p.m. at 771 Greenfield Road, Charlotte Court House, for followers of all faiths and none. Prayers, music, socializing, dinner and refreshments. Everyone is welcome. Call (434) 208-0117 for more information.

MARCH 15 

MISSIONARY PROGRAM, 3 p.m. at St. Level Baptist Church. Evangelist Mary Knighten of Greater Deliverance Tabernacle Church, Roxboro, North Carolina will deliver the message. All are welcome.

WOMEN AND MEN’S DAY, 3 p.m. at Mount Mitchell Baptist Church, Fort Mitchell, with a program “The nine fruits of the spirit”. Guest choir will be Fenny Wood Baptist Choir, Chase City with soloist Carolyn Tucker. All are welcome.

4TH ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. of the Praise Dance Team of New Bethel at New Bethel Baptist Church, 14167 Farmville Road, Meherrin. There will be a guest choir singing and guest praise dancers in attendance. All are welcome.

USHER’S ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. at Mt. Ellis Baptist Church. Special guests will be the Glory Train of Kenbridge performing a One Act Play, along with the Antioch Baptist Church Youth Choir sharing songs of praise. The Ushers of the Antioch Baptist Church will be the Host Ushers. The church is located at 8409 George Washington Highway, Keysville. Everyone is welcome.

MARCH 18-20 

SPRING AND YOUTH REVIVAL, 7 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Pastor Frederick Anderson, Pastor of Mt. Airy Baptist Church in Gretna, will be the guest minister for the week with music being provided by different area choirs.

MARCH 21 

MEETING, 10 a.m. of the Judith Randolph-Longwood Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution at the Farmville Presbyterian Church. There will be an awards ceremony followed by a presentation from guest speaker Roma Morris, Director of Prince Edward Social Services. Topic of discussion, “Empowering People”.

GOSPEL CONCERT, 4 p.m. at Prince Edward County High School hosted by the Kappa Rho Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. Different groups will be performing. The Master of Ceremony will be the Rev. Dr. Cavell Phillips, assistant pastor of the Richmond Christian Center and the host of “The Beat” on 106.5. Everyone is welcome. The concert will benefit the Sorority’s Scholarship fund.

MARCH 22 

SUNDAY SERVICES, at St. Level Baptist Church, located Highway 15, Clarksville. Sunday School every Sunday at 10 a.m. with worship service on the second and fourth Sunday at 11 a.m. with pastor, the Rev. Toney W. Smith. Everyone is welcome.

CHOIR FESTIVAL, 3 p.m. at St. Michael Baptist Church, Drakes Branch. Everyone is welcome to come and help us praise God through song and prayer.

MARCH 23 

CUE THE COLOR, 9 a.m. hosted by the Fuqua School PTSA at Farmville’s First Avenue Field. Register the morning of the event or in advance at www.fuquaschool. com. Bring your friends for this awesomely fun community event, with a burst of color. No pets permitted.

MARCH 25-27 

SPRING REVIVAL, 7:30 p.m. at St. Andrews Baptist Church of Cullen. Praise service begins at 7 p.m. Guest preacher will be the Rev. Lloyd Wesley, Sr, pastor of the Mt. Ellis Baptist Church, Keysville. Different choirs each night.

MARCH 28 

CONCERT, 7 p.m. at Rough Creek Presbyterian Church featuring “Prodigal Son”. There will be light refreshments following the concert and all are welcome to attend. The church is located three miles north of Phenix on Highway 727.
